London, UK (April 29th, 2013)– David Haymaker Haye versus Manuel Diamond Boy Charr YouTube Fight Promo  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42Xzu63WpYE

David Haymaker Haye is 32 years old, and wants a shot at Dr. Vitali Klitschko’s  World Boxing Council World Heavyweight title.  Haymaker versus Dr. Ironfist? If Haye can win his next bout in June 2013 at Manchester Arena on June 29, 2013 against Manuel ‘Diamond Boy’ Charr, odds are he could get a shot soon thereafter against Vitali in Germany.

Haye, London, United Kingdom, now 26-2, 24 knockouts, has been inactive since stopping Dereck Chisora in July 2012. Charr, a Lebanese fighter now out of Cologne, Germany, is 23-1, 13 knockouts. Charr has won two comeback bouts since Vitali stopped him in four rounds in September 2012.

Both Haye and Charr stand 6’3″. Charr weighs 262 pounds, while Haye weighs 210 pounds. Fifty more pounds makes a world of difference. It’s all about foot positioning. Look at what happened to Chris Arreola getting his nose busted by a similar weight, strong punching fighter in Bermane Stiverne, and you will understand the concept.

True, David Haye beat the 7’0″ 316 pound Nicolai Valuev to win the World Boxing Association World Heavyweight title back in 2009, but despite his size, Valuev was a C+ rated heavyweight at best, a modern day Primo Carnera with some lucky performances. Haye’s career has been marked by too much inactivity of late, while Charr as kept busy by winning two tune up bouts preceding this step up bout.

Make no mistake about it, fighting the 262 pound Charr is a dangerous move. Charr is bigger than the 247 pound Dereck Chisora. Still,  despite the weight disparity, Haye moves swiftly on his feet, and his jab is most powerful. Haye would be better off coming closer to the 222 pounds he weighed when he stopped John Ruiz in nine rounds in 2009.

To win this bout, Haye cannot stand in front of Charr, or he will get dropped and knocked out. Charr is the heaviest opponent Haye has faced professionally since his debut bout against Tony booth in 2002, excepting Valuev. However, Charr is an ‘A’ level fighter, better than any opponent Haye has faced except Wladimir Klitschko.

If the bout goes to a points decision, then David Haye win 12 over Charr. If Manuel Charr can drop Haye and overpower him, Charr will win by stoppage within eight rounds. Haye is 4-1 from the ninth round on, Charr is 3-0 from the ninth round on.

If Haye loses this bout, his career is over. The winner of this bout should fight Robert Helenius or Tyson Fury for the right to fight Dr. Vitali Klitschko, who may be facing a mandatory defense in summer 2013 first as Haiti’s Bermane Stiverne has decisioned Chris Arreola for the WBC number one contender heavyweight rankings position.
