Thompson landing kicks early. Noons trying to work the jab. Tompson takesdown Noons. Noons is having a hard time getting up. Most of this round Noons spent on his back. I scored this round 10-9 for Josh Tomson.
RD 2:
Headkick attempt by Thompson and he falls down by a slip. Thomson gets right backup . Thompson takes down KJ Noon. Thomson again controlling Noons by superior wrestling. The referee puts the combatants back up to the feet. Noons is bleeding from his eye. Noons takes down Thomson again to finish off the round. I scored it 10 to 9 for Thompson.
RD 3:
Noons lands some solid strikes early. Thomson takes Noons down and applies a arm triangle choke. Noons breaks out of the choke. Thomsom continues to control Noons on the ground. Thomson is doing a great job keeping Noons on his back. I scored it 10 to 9 for Thomson.

MAIN EVENT: RONDA ROUSEY VS. MIESHA TATE
RD1:
Takedown by Rousey early on. Rousey has a arm bar. Tates escapes by a miracle. Tate now has control. Tate has Rousey’s back. Rousey gets back to her feet. Excellent hip toss by Rousey. Rousey now has Tate’s back and now applies the arm bar and submits Tate. It may be dislocated.
This was one great fight ! A great fight for the women’s division that will help the sport grow. Both fighters showed that women need to be taken seriously in MMA by showing superior technical skills tonight.
Ronda Rousey wins by submission (arm bar) and is the new Strikeforce World Champ !!!
