The fight began with Cloud dropping Campillo twice in the first round and stalked him like a lion goes after prey.  Going into the middle rounds, it’s tit-for-tat. Cloud is much more powerful, but Campillo boxed very effectively from the southpaw style.

Cloud was really having trouble in the seventh round, but then he exploded with a furious combination of punches. Campillo  continues to be very busy and cut over Cloud’s left eye. In the 9th round Campillo hurt Cloud!

Early in the championship rounds, Campillo simply outclassed Cloud, He kept trying though, then Cloud comes back and caught Campillo with a HARD right hand! Cloud fires furious combinations!

Good fight!

Scores were 115-111 Campillo, 116-110 Cloud, 114-112 Cloud

Cloud retained his IBF Lightheavyweight title
