Las Vegas, NV (May 21st, 2023)– UFC Fight Night took place tonight from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, and Real Combat Media MMA has you covered with all the results and highlights!
The main event saw ranked women’s strawweights Mackenzie Dern (#8) and Angela Hill (#14) collide. While in the co-main event, middleweights Edmen Shahbazyan and Anthony Hernandez did battle.

In this women’s flyweight matchup, Natalia Silva made quick work of Victoria Leonardo, earning a TKO in the first round.

Main Card Highlights
Diego Ferreira def. Michael Johnson
In this lightweight bout, Diego Ferreira defeated veteran Michael Johnson with a brutal knockout.
Round one took place on the feet, with Johnson getting the better of some heavy exchanges. Then in round two, Ferreira unleashed a hellish right hand to brutally knocked out Johnson.
Joaquin Buckley def. Andre Fialho
In this welterweight bout, Joaquin Buckley delivered yet another highlight reel knockout to defeat Andre Fialho.
Loopy Godinez def. Emily Ducote
In this 120-pound catchweight bout, Loopy Godinez defeated Emily Ducote via unanimous decision.
In round one, Godinez defended multiple takedowns and got the better of the striking exchanges. Round two saw Godinez land some stinging combinations and defend Ducote’s takedown attempts yet again. In round three, both fighters had success on the feet, with Godinez getting the better of the action.
Anthony Hernandez def. Edmen Shahbazyan
In the co-main event, Anthony Hernandez earned a dominant TKO victory over Edmen Shahbazyan in their middleweight clash.
Round one saw Shahbazyan land stinging blows and knees early, but Hernandez responded by out grappling Shahbazyan and ending the round with a rear-naked choke attempt. In round two, Hernandez took advantage of a laboring Shahbazyan, taking him down to land brutal ground strikes. Then in round three, Hernandez easily got the takedown, before landing brutal ground strikes to force the ref to step in.
Mackenzie Dern def. Angela Hill
In the main event, Mackenzie Dern earned a dominant unanimous decision win against Angela Hill in their strawweight clash.
In round one, Dern knocked Hill to the canvas with a brutal right, before landing savage ground strikes and attempting multiple submissions. Round two saw Hill dominate in the clinch, before the duo traded heavy leather late on. In round three, Dern landed a clean knee to the face and got Hill down yet again to deliver some punishing blows.
Round four saw Hill recover to challenge Dern on the feet, but the Brazilian took her down late on. And in the final round, Dern landed a takedown early and dominated on top for the remainder of the fight.
