Knockout Artist Joey Dawejko Scores Third Consecutive First Round Kayo on Joey Eye Card

Chester, PA (November 16th, 2014)– In the main event of a five bout card at The Room in Harrah’s Casino Philadelphia in Chester, Pennsylvania, promoted by Joey Eye Boxing, XFE and King’s Promotions, Polish heavyweight prospect Joey Dawejko continued to demonstrate brutality and power. With his promoter Russell Peltz at ringside, Daweko dropped opponent Rayford Johnson with a left hook, staggered him around the ring with his left hook, before dropping Johnson, now 10-16, six knockouts, Longview, Texas, again face first with a left hook. The bout was stopped at 2:28 of the first round.
Dawejko, 13-3-2, six knockouts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has now won five consecutive bouts, with three consecutive first round knockouts. Dawejko’s major concerns have to do with his height and weight. Dawejko has power, but is too short and stocky at 244 pounds.
Dawejko has been talking about a potential bout in 2015 against southpaw Peltz stablemate Amir Mansour, 21-1. 16 knockouts, Wilmington, Delaware, 18 years his junior. Dawejko was present at Mansour’s kayo win last week over Fred Kassi in the NBC Sports Network main event at Sands Casino Bethlehem.Dawejko would be an amazing phenomenon if he could sink to cruiserweight. According to Dawejko, he has one minor fight left before taking on a major bout, in an attempt to win a top ten ranking and get his promotional contract renewed. Peltz matched stablemates Steve Cunningham and Amir Mansour. Whether Peltz would want to match Dawejko against Mansour is a different story entirely.

Raymond Serrano TKO 4 Wilfredo Acuna, Light Middleweights
Doctor stops contest. Acuna bleeding from corner of right eye. Serrano pinpoint accurate with straight power jabs, and would have worked the cut worse if given the chance. Acuna weighed in at 149 pounds, Serrano 146 pounds, thus the bout was at light middleweight.

Al Haymon fighter Aleem dropped and stopped Martinez for first time in Martinez career.
Benjamin Burgos Win Majority Decision 4 Alex Barbosa, Featherweights
Scoring: 38-38 draw. 39-37, 39-37 Burgos. Ring announcer Barbosa,inactive 21 months looked rusty in comeback attempt. 2-9-1 Burgos outworked him to win, but not an upset.
Dan Bolden Win Split Decision 4 Randy Easton, Heavyweights, Opening Bout at Harrah’s
Scoring: 39-37, 39-37 for Dan Bolden. 39-37 for Randy Easton.
Bolden was booed by the crowd after the scorecards were announced. The lights above the ring area were dimmed during the five bout card, which might have affected the judging.
Mike Melendez was in the corner of Bolden, Marhsall Kauffman in the corner of Easton. After the bout Kauffman called the decision “It was horrible! But-I don’t want a rematch.”
Heavyweights opened and closed Joey Eye’s card, a professional boxing procedural rarity.
