Dmitriy Salita’s Brooklyn Brawl Boxing Shows To Encourage Youth in NYC Boxing

New York,NY (July 29, 2013)– Dmitriy Salita’s Star of David Promotions presents an exciting nine bout card of boxing at the Fight Factory Gym in Brooklyn, New York on Thursday, August 22, 2013. Welterweight contender and promoter Dmitriy Salita will not be appearing on his own card, however. Salita will only promote his cards, dubbed the ‘Brooklyn Brawl’ boxing shows, whose goal is to encourage inner city New York City youth to find a constructive path with their lives through boxing.
Salita’s ‘Bragging Rights’ card will feature five preliminary four round bouts and three preliminary six round bouts. The four rounders will feature: debuting welterweights Mack Budd and Jovan Sosa; super middleweights Orin George and Borngod Washington, former Detroit Golden Gloves champion Anthony Barnes and Bakari; middleweights Pete Reyes and Juan Zapata; and super featherweights Glenford Nicky and Joshua Nieves. The six rounders will feature: cruiserweights Miron Kadyrov and Armin Mrkanovic; and super featherweight Angel Garcia and light welterweight Dinmukhamed Niyazov against opponents to be named later.
The main event features welterweight prospect Rajiv Bhattacharya, 9-0, six knockouts, Stamford, Connecticut by way of the United Kingdom, again an opponent still to be named for the vacant USA New York Welterweight title.
Salita’s show also features a musical performance by pop singer Describe. Popular Brooklyn Nets and ring announcer David Diamante will be the Master of Ceremonies.
