Noche UFC Results: Jean Silva Submits Jose Delgado in Round 3, Full Card Results & Video Highlights

Glendale, Arizona, (September 13th, 2026)–Jean Silva got his revenge on Noche UFC. A year after being finished by Diego Lopes in the same slot, the Brazilian headlined the fourth annual Mexican Independence Day card and walked out with a one-armed rear-naked choke at 2:57 of round three over short-notice replacement Jose Miguel Delgado. It didn’t come easy, and it didn’t come the way anyone expected. A sold-out Desert Diamond Arena crowd set the venue’s all-time gross record on a night that produced Fight of the Night contenders on both the prelims and the main card.
Main Event: Silva Survives a Strange Start to Finish Delgado
The first round was one of the odder five minutes you’ll see in a UFC main event. Silva came forward with his hands up and simply didn’t throw, failing to land a single strike through the opening three minutes while Delgado — fighting at home in Glendale on less than a month’s notice — chopped at his legs and eventually dropped him with a clean right cross. That knockdown seemed to snap Silva out of it. He came alive in the second, landing a heavy flurry and dragging Delgado to the mat, and by the third he was his usual self. Silva dropped Delgado with a right hand along the fence, the Arizonan panic-wrestled trying to recover, and Silva took the back and sank in a one-armed rear-naked choke for the finish. The celebration was as chaotic as the fight: Silva shrugged Delgado off while he was still down, scaled the cage toward UFC chief business officer Hunter Campbell, and began chewing the tape off his gloves while officials looked on. Silva moves to 7-1 in the Octagon with six finishes and has his eyes on the winner of Alexander Volkanovski vs. Movsar Evloev at UFC 333 on October 24th.
Co-Main Event: Moreno Gets a Much-Needed Win Over Morales
Brandon Moreno needed this one. The first Mexican-born UFC champion entered on a two-fight skid against an unranked opponent in TUF 33 winner Joseph Morales, and got through it on an odd set of split decision scores (28-29, 30-27, 30-27) — two judges gave him every round, one gave him none. There was almost no grappling through the first two rounds as both men chose to stand and trade, with Moreno inching forward and Morales landing clean counters of his own. Moreno was the sharper man in the third, out-scoring Morales and closing with a well-timed takedown that let him ride out the final 90 seconds in top position. It was an emotional win for the former champion in his first Noche UFC appearance.
McMillen Survives a Knockdown for Fight of the Night
The best fight on the card came in the middle of the main card. Tommy McMillen and Marwan Rahiki, both undefeated Contender Series Class of ’25 grads, spent fifteen minutes trading. McMillen pressed the action and landed the bigger individual shots in the first, then Rahiki turned it around in the second, dropping the Arizona native in the center of the Octagon and putting him on the brink. McMillen survived, responded, and then took the third outright, controlling the final five minutes to get the crowd on its feet and sweep the cards (29-28, 29-28, 29-27). He’s now 12-0 and called for a fourth fight this year in Las Vegas, promising another bonus.
Grasso Beats Fiorot, Blaydes and Martinez Grind Out Decisions
Alexa Grasso made the strongest title-shot case of anyone on the card. The former flyweight champion took the fight to Manon Fiorot immediately, putting her in danger inside the opening 30 seconds and dropping her again before the horn, then out-landing her through the second despite a cut opening beside her right eye. All three judges scored it 29-28 for Grasso, her second straight win and a result that makes her the clubhouse leader for the next shot at 125. Curtis Blaydes fought a far more conservative fight than his UFC 327 brawl, working behind the jab and mixing in timely takedowns to sweep Waldo Cortes-Acosta on the cards and likely reclaim a top-five spot, though the performance left plenty to be desired. And in the main card opener, David Martinez continued his run of beating experienced veterans, chopping down Dan Ige’s lead leg and out-landing him throughout to take a clear decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28). Martinez is now 4-0 in the UFC with an eleven-fight overall win streak.
Prelims: Sean King III’s 36-Second Slam KO Steals the Early Show
The undercard delivered. Sean King III needed 36 seconds to end his UFC debut, trapping Jessie Rosas’s arm as he changed levels, hoisting him overhead and driving him into the canvas for an instant knockout — just nine days after accepting the fight. Yousri Belgaroui got his third straight UFC stoppage, chopping at Djorden Santos’s lead leg before hurting him with a jab and finishing in round one. Tommy Gantt became the first fighter to submit Drakkar Klose, locking up a reverse triangle choke in the third after controlling the veteran for two rounds. Rongzhu out-paced Rafa Garcia in an all-action lightweight scrap, Ignacio Bahamondes beat divisional mainstay Muslim Salikhov in his welterweight debut, Tim Elliott edged Edgar Chairez in a fifteen-minute war, and 21-year-old Regina Tarin opened the night by handing JJ Aldrich a decision loss to move to 9-0.

Performance of the Night bonuses went to Jean Silva and Sean King III. Tommy McMillen and Marwan Rahiki split Fight of the Night honors for their three-round battle. All four earned $100,000, and every fighter who finished their fight on the card was awarded an additional $25,000.
