Roy Jones, Jr. is going to fight a fan. (UR Fight)

By CBS Sports

Have you ever watched Roy Jones, Jr. box and thought to yourself, “yeah, I could take him?” Well, you are in luck.

The former light heavyweight champion of the world will be taking on a fan, and if the fan wins, he will take home $100,000, as part of an event in Phoenix, Arizona titled “UR Fight”that will feature aging legends from boxing, MMA and professional wrestling competing on a pay-per-view stream.

Jones, Jr. is the only one competing against a fan, and it appears as though anyone can enter by submitting a 90-second long video explaining why they should get a shot at the 47-year-old former champ and HBO boxing analyst (who was reportedly going to retire soon, but has yet to officially do so).

In case you were thinking that there is no way this is real, here’s Roy himself discussing how he’s going to dominate whatever random fan steps to him in the ring.
