New York, NY (July 12th, 2025)– With straight hands, left hooks, and body shots, Katie Taylor won her trilogy bout in the main event of a Jake Paul most Valuable Promotions eight bout all-female card at Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 11, 2025, emerging with a close majority 10 round decision, to retain her World Boxing Council, World Boxing Organisation, and International Boxing Federation World Female Super Lightweight titles, live on Netflix. The bout lacked the intensity of the first bout bouts between the future Hall of Fame female combatants.

The final minute of the bout told the story of accuracy on the part of Taylor. Serrano continued throwing feel out straight jabs, missing most of them. Taylor landed 70 of 231 punches, while Serrano landed 70 of 382 punches. Serrano led 21-13 in jabs landed, while Taylor led 57-49 in power shots. Taylor appeared the more effective combatant, wining 97-93, 97-93 on two scorecards. Judge Mark Lyson scored the bout 95-95 a draw.

Taylor, now 25-1 with six knockouts, Vernon, Connecticut, by way of Bray, Ireland, might be looking at a trilogy with the WBC interim World Super Lightweight champion Chantelle Cameron, who eat her at 3Dublin Arena in May 20223 by decision, then lost the rematch by decision in the same venue in November 2023. Southpaw Serrano, 47-4 with 31 knockouts, Carolina, Puerto Rico, might consider going back down in weight to the featherweight and lightweight classes where she has usually dominated. If not, the IBO World Super Lightweight title appears to be available.

Cameron, 21-1 with eight knockouts, Northampton, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom, successfully defended her WBC interim Super Lightweight title with a 10 round decision over 14-5-1 Jessica Camera on Montreal, Canada, earlier on the card, with scorecards of 99-91-99-91, and 98-92.
