Robert Guerrero vs. Aaron Martinez Preview
By Jason Gonzalez, Real Combat Media Arizona Boxing Correspondent
Carson, CA (May 27, 2015)–Robert the Ghost Guerrero (32-3-1) is ready to return to the ring against Aron Martinez (19-3-1) on June 6th at the Stub Center in Carson, California. Guerrero’s last fight was on PBC against Keith Thurman which ended in a lose for Guerrero. Nevertheless, Guerrero’s last two fights proved that he is a war machine and is willing to leave it all in the ring. His fan friendly fighting style is what keeps fans coming back for more.
Martinez also lost his last fight against Josesito Lopez which ended in a 5th round TKO when in the middle of the round Martinez turned away from the fight and decided it was too much. This fight should be a walk in the park for Guerrero whether he out-boxes Martinez or makes it a brawl. Taking to account that Martinez does not have a size, speed, or power advantage over Guerrero his chances are slim.
This is a tune-up fight for Guerrero and a chance of a lifetime for Martinez. Therefore, Guerrero needs an impressive win on June 6th to prove that he still belongs in the ring with the elite at 147 and not relatively unknown fighters.
