Washington, DC (June 14th, 2026)– UFC Freedom 250 is a historic, unique sevenfight card taking place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, broadcasting live from the South Lawn of the White House. This landmark event marks the first time a major professional sports competition is being hosted on the White House grounds, serving as part of the country’s America 250 celebrations. The main card kicks off at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT and will stream live on Paramount+. To match the monumental stage, fighters are competing for a massive $1 million elevated bonus pool, with individual performance bonuses scaled up to $400,000+.

Main Event Preview: Topuria vs. Gaethje (Lightweight):

Undefeated champion Ilia Topuria puts his crown on the line against interim titleholder Justin Gaethje. Topuria brings flawless boxing and high-level grappling, making him a heavy betting favorite. However, Gaethje represents the ultimate litmus test in the lightweight division, carrying peerless durability and world-class leg kicks that can destabilize any technical striker.

Co-Main Event Preview: Pereira vs. Gane (Heavyweight):

Alex Pereira moves up to heavyweight, attempting an unprecedented legacy run. Having already won belts at middleweight and light heavyweight, a win over Ciryl Gane would make him the sport’s first three-division champion. Gane, highly agile and a masterful technical kickboxer, presents a stark stylistic test, as Pereira will not have his usual size and reach advantages.

Sean O’Malley vs. Aiemann Zahabi (Bantamweight):

Former champion and No. 3-ranked Sean O’Malley makes his highly anticipated return, utilizing his lightning-fast striking and exceptional footwork. He faces No. 6 ranked Aiemann Zahabi, who enters the biggest spotlight of his career riding a dominant 7-fight win streak. Analysts favor O’Malley’s championship experience and speed to control the distance, while Zahabi looks to mix in his grappling to orchestrate an upset.

Josh Hokit vs. Derrick Lewis (Heavyweight):

Undefeated prospect and No. 5 ranked Josh Hokit takes a massive step up against UFC’s all-time knockout king, No. 9 ranked Derrick Lewis. This collision was specifically requested by Donald Trump to bring “The Black Beast’s” legendary power to the historic venue. Hokit, an athletic former NFL player with an elite collegiate wrestling background, is expected to lean heavily on his grappling to neutralize Lewis’s ferocious one-punch knockout capability.

Mauricio Ruffy vs. Michael Chandler (Lightweight):

No. 9-ranked rising star Mauricio Ruffy attempts to secure another highlight-reel finish when he meets the sport’s ultimate showman, No. 13-ranked Michael Chandler. Ruffy, who trained extensively with Alexander Volkanovski to hone his takedown defense, enters as a heavy betting favorite over the aging veteran. Chandler will look to utilize explosive wrestling and throw heavy bombs to test Ruffy’s elite chin.

Bo Nickal vs. Kyle Daukaus (Middleweight):

Hyper-prospect Bo Nickal returns to face lethal middleweight finisher Kyle Daukaus, who earned this spot after securing back-to-back finishes in under two minutes. Nickal remains a comfortable favorite due to his supreme wrestling foundation, but Daukaus represents a highly dangerous submission threat if the fight hits the canvas.

Diego Lopes vs. Steve Garcia (Featherweight):

This all-action featherweight opener pits No. 2-ranked submission wizard Diego Lopes against No. 9-ranked Steve Garcia, who rides a ferocious 7-fight win streak (6 by knockout). It is a classic striker-versus-grappler matchup. Lopes will try to withstand Garcia’s high-volume, damaging power shots early to drag the fight down and search for a submission.

Eve A custom-built, temporary arena on the South Lawn, seating between 4,000 and 5,000 attendees, primarily active-duty military.Fan Fest: A free public viewing experience for up to 85,000–120,000 people is set up at the nearby Ellipse.

The event celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States Flag Day and President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday.

Fighters are competing for significantly increased bonuses, reportedly four times the normal amount, up to $425,000 for “Fight of the Night” or “Performance of the Night”.
