Bivol secured a dominant unanimous decision victory, with all three judges scoring the shutout bout 120-107. Eifert produced the worst numbers on Compubox scoring for any previous Bivol opponents.
The result reinforced Bivol’s position at the top of the division. Bivol controlled the pace, landed a first-round knockdown, and easily retained his titles after a 15-month layoff.
Many boxing fans still want to see a trilogy fight with Artur Beterbiev later this year or next year.
