Baddy Paddy Pimblett Accepts Jake Paul One Million Dollar Sparring Challenge

By Robert Brizel, Head Real Combat Media Boxing Correspondent

Las Vegas, NV (December 1, 2022)–  UFC lightweight contender ‘Baddy’ Paddy Pimblett, has gone public accusing Jake Paul’s boxing fights as being fixed, including Anderson Silva going down without getting hit by a punch. Pimblett, 19-3, Liverpool, United Kingdom, Next Generation UK, will be fighting the co-main event at UFC 282 on December 10, 2022, against 19-5 Jared ‘Flash’ Gordon, Queens, New York, of Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu/Roufusport, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pimblett’s statements refer strictly to the cash for beating the YouTuber social media opponents. “I’ll fight any of them, it’s an easy payday. I don’t want to box any of them. I don’t care about them. I do this proper and professionally against some of the best fighters in the world. But if any of them want to pay me millions of pounds to beat them up-I’m all for it.”

On Tuesday, November 28, 2022, Paul responded to Pimblett, while offering him an immediate sparring bet challenge in Las Vegas. If Pimblett wins, Paul will pay him one million dollars. If Paul wins, Pimblett has to join the United Fighters Association, Paul’s newest venture in helping MMA fighters get better pay, benefits, and more.

Here is what Jake Paul responded with on social media on Wednesday, November 29, 2022. “Dear Paddy Pimblett: You claim my fights are rigged? Stop calling the GOAT Anderson Silva a criminal and come spar me! If you win, I will give you one million dollars. If I win, Paddy, you will join the UFA United Fighter’s Association.”

Later on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, Pimblett responded to Paul’s offer. Pimblett responded to Paul’s challenge saying he accepts it, and invited Paul to Las Vegas to make it happen. “Come to the UFC Performance Institute next week and bring one million dollars in a bag, and I will spar with you,” Pimblett told TMZ. I’m in the PI in Vegas on Thursday. I land on Thursday. So even though I’m low on calories and I’m only about 170 pounds now-Jake Paul likes picking on smaller people anyway-but-if he wants to wait until after my fight, until Monday because I’m still in Vegas until Tuesday after UFC 282, and I’m about 185, 190 pounds, I’m game (for the Jake Paul challenge).”

On Wednesday, November 29, 2022, Jake Paul responded to Pimblett’s so-called acceptance with conditions. “Fella, my team told me you have been trying to book me for your podcast. So, I’m sending you a jet to bring you to Puerto Rico. Both of our teams will film (our sparring session). We will spar five rounds first, and then we can do your podcast. By then you will be back to your normal weight. No excuses.”
