Floyd Mayweather Says Fight With Conor McGregor is Off the Table
Las Vegas, NV (September 20th, 2016)– Floyd Mayweather and UFC 145lb. champion Conor McGregor have been talking about a potential fight since early this year, but it appears Mayweather told FightHype he is not interested in that fight anymore Mayweather stated that he has made his best efforts in making that fight with Conor.
“I tried to make the fight happen between me and Conor McGregor. We wasn’t able to make the fight happen so we must move on,” Floyd Mayweather said
However,Conor McGregor is still under contract with the UFC and Dana White said he never heard anything from Floyd in regards to making this fight.
“It’s so crazy that when I talk about fighting Conor McGregor, you’ve got so many other fighters that’s in boxing that wants to fight Conor McGregor. I was the first, once again,” Mayweather said.
“I feel honored to be the biggest name in MMA and in boxing and I don’t even compete no more,” Mayweather said. “That’s the great thing about my career.”
