JON JONES IN TROUBLE WITH THE LAW AGAIN
Albuquerque, NM (February 8th, 2016)– After being stripped of his title for a hit and run incident last year, Jon Jones has just been cited for driving without a license, insurance and registration. Jones is currently scheduled for a rematch with current champion Daniel Cormier. This bout is set to take place on April, 23 at UFC 197.
There has been no statement made by the UFC concerning any of Jones’ recent legal troubles and whether it will effect his rematch with Cormier. Here is the video about Jones being cited for his infraction which just took place.
Editor’s Update: The citation Jon Jones received was failure to show documents. Jon Jones is a licensed driver and this citation will not affect his probation status.
