ARROYO TWINS AND WORLD CHAMPION YESICA “LA TUTI” BOPP THIS THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 AT EL SAN JUAN RESORT & CASINO IN PUERTO RICO

 

CAROLINA, PUERTO RICO– Former Olympians McWilliams and McJoe Arroyo, and female WBO junior flyweight champion Yesica “La Tuti” Bopp will headline this Thursday, September 27, show “Noche de Campeones DIRECTV” to be held at El San Juan Resort & Casino in a PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP).

Puerto Rican prospects McWilliams and McJoe Arroyo will face veteran foes in Ronald Ramos and Jose “Carita” Lopez, while Bopp will defend her title for the eight time. Five mores fights will complete the show.

The main event presents former Amateur World Champion, McWilliams Arroyo (12-1, 10 KOs) defending his WBO Latino flyweight titles against experienced Ronald Ramos (30-10-3, 17 KOs), from Colombia in a fight scheduled to 12 rounds. McWilliams is a 2008 Olympian, who won gold medals in the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games, 2007 Panamerican Games and 2009 World Amateur Championships. McWilliams is the #11 ranked by the WBO in the flyweight division.

“My dream is to become a world champion and this is another test for me. I’m ready for any challenge”, McWilliams said today.

Meanwhile, female WBO junior flyweight champion, La Tuti Bopp (21-0, 9 KOs), from Argentina, will defend her belt against Marisol Miranda (5-4, 1 KOs), from The Bronx, New York, in a bout scheduled to 10 rounds.

“I’m very happy to fight again in Puerto Rico and to defend my title again. There will be a good fight”, Bopp said.

Also, prospect McJoe Arroyo (10-0, 5 KOs) is going to face the big test of his career when he fight against former WBO superflyweight champion Jose “Carita” Lopez (39-10-2, 32 KOs) in a bout scheduled to 10 rounds.

Five more fights, scheduled to four rounds, will complete the show. Pedro Vicente (1-0) will face Hipolito Rivera (1-4, 1 KOs) in the featherweight division; in the lightweights, Jesus Pastrana (2-1, 1 KOs) will face Efrain Cruz (1-0, 1 KOs); in the junior middleweights, Pablo de Jesus (2-0, 2 KOs) will fight against Harold Cartagena (1-0, 1 KOs); in the junior flyweights, Kabil Rodriguez will face Gustavo Ortiz (0-1-1), and in the light heavyweights, Alex Vazquez (1-1, 1 KOs) will fight against debutant Jason Ramos.
