Bradley vs. Pacquiao 2 Rematch will not happen until investigation is complete according to Bob Arum

According to Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports, the Bradley vs. Pacquiao rematch will not happen unless an investigation is done on the scoring of Saturday night’s upset.
The public is outraged by the decision that many high profiles celebrities and fighters expressed their feelings about the appaling decision on Twitter. All three judges scored the fight (115-113) in a split decision victory in favor of Timothy Bradley. Bob Arum will not grant a rematch unless Nevada attorney general Catherine Cortez Masto launches an investigation.

“I want to investigate whether there was any undue influence, whether the [Nevada Athletic Commission] gave any particular instruction and how they came to this conclusion,” said Arum, who at the post-fight news conference was adamant the result was a mistake but not the result of any chicanery. “But the whole sport is in an uproar. People are going crazy.

“If this was a subjective view that each of [the judges] honestly held, OK. I would still disagree, but then we’re off the hook in terms of there being no conspiracy. But there needs to be an independent investigation because it strains credulity that an event everybody saw as so one-sided one way all three judges saw it as close. It strains credulity.”

There are also many fans out there pointing the finger at Bob Arum, despite that no one has conclusive evidence of his wrongdoing. But Boxing fans do deserve the truth, especially after the Brandon Rios vs. Richard Abril fight which was also a very controversial decision . That fight was scored for Brandon Rios, despite that many ringside fans and media had Richard Abril winning that fight.

What we do know is that Mr. Arum has expressed his disagreement about the judges decision and feels that the judges were too old to be judging major fights. He also said that the other judge did not have championship experience.
