This morning promoter Javier Bustillo of Universal Promotions held a press conference to announce the May 11th boxing event to be held in Penuelas titled “Noche de Campeones”. On hand was the mayor of Penuelas, Walter Torres. “In reality it has been some time we wanted to bring boxing to Penuelas”, said mayor Torres. The card will be featuring three outstanding fighters on the rise. Jorge “Machito” Maysonet(6-0, 5 KOs) who is the son of former boxer Jorge Maysonet Sr. Joshua Santiago(7-0, 6 KOs) who is from nearby Yauco, will have his family and friends in attendance. The hard hitting Josean Serra(8-1, 6 KOs) will also make his presence in the ring. There will be an action packed undercard that will see Julio “Tuntun” Irizarry, Angel Acosta, Miguel Marrero, and Samuel Santana in action.

Hato Rey, Puerto Rico – Esta mañana, el promotor Javier Bustillo de Universal Promotions ofreció una conferencia de prensa para anunciar el 11 de mayo evento de boxeo que se celebrará en Peñuelas titulado “Noche de Campeones”. Presente estaba el alcalde de Peñuelas, Walter Torres. “En realidad ha sido un tiempo que queríamos traer el boxeo para Peñuelas”, dijo el alcalde Torres. La tarjeta será con tres destacados boxeadores en aumento. Jorge “Machito” Maysonet (6-0, 5KOs), quien es el hijo del ex boxeador Jorge Maysonet Sr. Josué Santiago (7-0, 6KOs) que es de cerca de Yauco tendrá a su familia y amigos presentes. La contundente Josean Serra (8-1, 6KOs) también hará su presencia en el ring. Habrá una cartelera llena de acción que verá a Julio “Tuntun” Irizarry, Ángel Acosta, Miguel Marrero, y Samuel Santana en acción.
