WBO Super Featherweight Champion Adrian “The Problem” Broner 22(18)-0–0 defense against solid veteran Eloy Perez 23(7)-0–2
Rd 1 – Andrian Broner comes up in a Floyd Mayweather’s stance. Very reflexive and very accurate. Broner looks very quick at the beginning of the first round. He just threw a looping left hook which is also referred to as the “kangaroo left hook.” Perez is stunned momentarily. Perez is hesitant. Broner looking to counterpunch. Nice right uppercut by Broner!
Rd 2 – Broner is incredibly quick. His style is very reminiscent of Floyd Mayweather! Excellent 1-2 by Adrian Broner. But Perez is trying to fight back. Broner is very relaxed. Perez is making a mistake by trying to back up against a taller fighter with Broner. What he should be doing is trying to find ways to close the distance to get on the inside and land his shots. Broner lands a hard right hand and another right-handed, and a double left hook at the end of the bell.
Rd 3 – Broner looking to pick up where he left off at the start of the third round. Perez tried to close the distance and then Broner caught him with a right uppercut, Perez shook his head “no” as if to say, “ you did not hurt me. Perez triple jabbe”d to get on the inside Brawner called him with another right uppercut. Perez trying to jab to the body Brawner clock catches him with two double left hooks. Broner showboating a little bit. He is just so much more faster and has greater skill at this point. Broner is tripling up his jab followed by right-hand . He is toying with Perez at this point. Perez comes back with shots of his own!! Perez is out gone at this point, but he is still a live dog and continues to fight back.
Rd 4 – Perez lands three triple left hooks! Broner, though, is a master of stepping around his opponent, and when he does this he gives Perez problems . When he stands in front of Perez gives Perez opportunities to land punches. Perez is DOWN!! Spectacular performance on the part of Adrian Broner!!! WOW! It was a straight right hand followed by another right-hand as Perez was falling down. He did not beat the count
