Chisora Fractures Hand Sparring, Tyson Fury Bout Postponed, Card Still On But Will Not Be Televised

London, UK (July 21, 2014)– Dereck ‘Del Boy’ fractured his left hand in his final sparring session for his rematch with Tyson Fury, forcing a postponement of their WBA and WBO International heavyweight title bout, an eliminator for the World Boxing Organization number one ranking position.

A 13 bout card is still scheduled for July 26, 2014, 4u Arena in Manchester, United Kingdom, promoted by Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions. 19-0 Billy Joe Saunders will fight 22-0 Emanuele Blandamura for the vacant European Middleweight title in the 12 round main event. The card will however not be televised as Fury versus Chisora is no longer part of the card.
