AMANDA SERRANO VS. REINA TELLEZ & HOLLY HOLM VS. STEPHANIE HAN RESULTS & VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS
San Juan, Puerto Rico (January 4th, 2026)– Amanda Serrano defeated Reina Tellez by unanimous decision on Saturday, January 3, 2026, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to retain her unified WBA and WBO featherweight world titles.
The fight was a 10-round slugfest contested under men’s boxing rules (3-minute rounds). Serrano, a multiple-weight world champion, was forced to work hard by Tellez, a late replacement opponent who took the fight on short notice. Tellez managed to inflict damage, causing a badly swollen right eye for Serrano in the fifth round, but Serrano used her experience to control the fight with combinations and body shots. Tellez was durable and made it to the final bell despite a relentless attack from the champion in the final round.
The judges’ scorecards were 98-92, 97-93, and 97-93, all in favor of Serrano.
