Slick Michael Anderson USBA Title Bout Headlines 12 Bout Prudential Center Card

Newark, NJ (June 9th, 2024)– Hometown favorite ‘Slick’ Michael Anderson will headline an exciting 12 bout card of professional boxing at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday, October 12, 2024, presented by Rising Star Promotions as part of the Brick City Fight Night series.

Anderson, 24-3-1 with 18 knockouts, New Jersey, will battle Daniel Gonzalez, 21-4-1 with seven knockouts, Queens, New York, for the vacant International Boxing Federation USBA Welterweight title. Anderson is predicted to win by ninth round knockout in a scheduled 10 rounder. In the preliminary bout to the main event, bantamweight Emmanuel Gonzalez, 15-2, Newark, New Jersey, is predicted to win by eighth round technical knockout over Khalid Twaliti, 13-0 with five knockouts, Brooklyn, New York. Gonzalez has a far better quality of opponent.

On the undercard, heavyweight Kristian Prenga, 15-1 with 15 knockouts, Edgewater, New Jersey, is predicted to win by third round knockout of Michael Hilton, 11-0 with seven knockouts, Trenton, New Jersey. Hilton, who has been out of the ring three years, is actually a blown up cruiserweight, and not in the same class as Prenga. 17-1 Uwel Hernandez, a Cuban fighting out of Munich, Germany, is scheduled to appear on the card in a 10 rounder.
