2023 PFL ATL: LW & WW VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS

ATLANTA, GEORGIA – The Professional Fighters League, the fastest growing and most innovative sports league in the world, kicked off the second half of the 2023 PFL Regular Season with PFL ATL: Lightweight and Welterweight at the Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, GA.

The main event saw 2022 PFL Lightweight Champion “The Canadian Gangster” Olivier Aubin-Mercier stay on track for a championship repeat with a third-round knockout of Anthony “The Genius” Romero. Aubin-Mercier looked to be a step ahead throughout the fight, until finally delivering a crushing knee that laid Romero out.

In the co-main event, 2022 PFL Welterweight Champion Sadibou “The Swedish Denzel” Sy kept his hopes for a second consecutive title run alive with a third-round knockout of Shane “AAA” Mitchell. Sy landed a perfectly-placed wheel kick to the jaw to put Mitchell out and earn a record-setting fifth-straight PFL Playoffs appearance.

The exciting night of fights also saw Magomed Magomedkerimov, Clay Collard, and Carlos Leal all pick up impressive stoppages to clinch their spots in the 2023 PFL Playoffs.
