Charles Jourdain def. Kron Gracie
In this featherweight matchup, Charles Jourdain earned a unanimous decision against Kron Gracie.
In round one, Jourdain had success landing combinations and an uppercut, while Gracie pulled guard but failed to work a submission. Round two saw Gracie pull guard yet again but fail to work a submission. In round three, Jourdain landed some effective strikes before Gracie pulled guard, but again failed to threaten with submissions.
Movsar Evloev def. Diego Lopes
In this featherweight bout, Movsar Evloev survived several submission attempts to earn a unanimous decision against Diego Lopes.
In round one, Lopes rocked Evloev early, before the Russian won a takedown. Lopes then almost pulled of an armbar, but Evloev narrowly survived. Round two saw both fighters have success on the feet, before Lopes pulled guard, giving Evloev the chance to land huge ground strikes. In round three, Evloev got the takedown but Lopes threatened with a kimura and then a knee bar.
Yan Xiaonan def. Jessica Andrade
In this women’s strawweight bout, Yan Xiaonan made a huge case for a title shot with a brutal TKO of Jessica Andrade.
Belal Muhammad def. Gilbert Burns
In the co-main event, Belal Muhammad earned a dominant unanimous decision victory over Gilbert Burns in their welterweight clash.
In round one, Muhammad defended a takedown and had success landing brutal kicks to the body and stunned Burns with a stiff left. Round two saw Muhammad push the pace, having continued success with body kicks. In round three, Muhammad continued to trouble Burns with body kicks.
Round four saw Burns land a few huge rights that Muhammad ate comfortably, as the American’s body shots continued to land. And in the final round, Muhammad continued to push the pace on the feet to round out the win.
Aljamain Sterling def. Henry Cejudo
In the main event, Aljamain Sterling earned a split decision victory over Henry Cejudo to retain the bantamweight belt.
In round one, Cejudo got a takedown early, but Sterling responded by getting a takedown himself and take Cejudo’s back. Round two was better for Cejudo, who had success landing head kicks and a few stinging rights. In round three, Cejudo defended numerous takedowns before getting his own late on.
Round four saw Sterling have continued success with low kicks and get the takedown late on. And in the final round, Cejudo pushed the pace, landing a blistering right and getting a takedown late on. Catch all the highlights below.
