NATE DIAZ ASSUALT VICTIM RESPONDS TO THE CHOKE ATTACK

New Orleans, LA (April 24th, 2023)– Nate Diaz was filmed choking out a man in the street during a wild brawl in New Orleans on Friday night .

The former UFC star was in the city to support teammate Chris Avila, who was fighting on a Misfits boxing card at the XULA Convention Center.

Diaz had already gone viral earlier in the evening for throwing a bottle at Netflix reality star Chase DeMoor during the event, with security forced to intervene.

DeMoor, who has featured in Too Hot To Handle and Perfect Match, was disqualified from his own fight against Stevie Knight after sparking a brawl in the ring.

When Diaz left the venue,  another video had emerged showing the MMA star putting a man to sleep with a chokehold in the video below during the melee. That man was Rodney Petersen who is a Tik Tok Star who resembles Logan Paul.

In a new video, a dazed Petersen curses Diaz and the apparent case of mistaken identity.

“So I don’t know what the hell I did to Nate Diaz,” he said. “But I’ll telling you what. I’m going to knock him the f*** out when I know he’s coming. You caught me off guard, dude. Did you think I was Logan? What the f***?”

Peterson wrote on his Instagram story: “Got attacked by Nate Diaz. Wtf I was like bro chill. He was like I Someone Say Kill?”

Peterson vowed revenge against the UFC star and showed off a grisly injury to the back of his head.

Jake Paul Responds…

Diaz is set to fight Logan Paul’s brother, Jake, in a boxing match on August 5.

Jake and Logan Paul responded to the clip on Twitter by posting their own, tongue-in-cheek response.

“Here we are going to teach you what to do if a homeless Stockton man tries to come at you in the middle of the street,” Jake started as he poked fun at Diaz.

“If you look anything like a Paul brother, keep your eyes peeled because the streets are hot.

“I’ll be demonstrating the MMA fighter and this will be the poor victim on the side of the street.

Diaz has not fought professionally since UFC 279 when he beat Tony Ferguson in September 2022.
