Nashville, Tennessee (February 10th, 2023)– Former number one heavyweight contender ‘Fast’ Eddie Chambers is still fast, back in action at age 40 after seven years of inactivity. Chambers, weighing a trim 226 pounds, and looking sharp despite his lengthy retirement, scored a third round knockout over a blubbery and outmatched massive sized Corey Williams, in the main event of a five bout pro card at Texas Troubadour Theatre in Nashville, Tennessee, on February 7, 2023.

Chambers, 43-5 with 24 knockouts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, dropped Williams, 6-14-2 with four knockouts, age 44, Longmont, Colorado, in the second round with a power shot to the solar plexus. After dropping Williams again in the third round, referee Anthony Bryant stopped the contest at 1:10 of the third round.

In the preliminary bout to the main event, a six round contest between undefeated cruiserweight prospect Evan Gubera, 5-0-1, of Fremont, California, and 25 bout cruiserweight veteran Demetrius Banks, now 12-12-2, of Detroit, Michigan, ended in a split decision draw. Scoring went 58-56 for Gubera, 58-56 for Banks, and 57-57 even for a draw.
