An Illness to Juan Huertas Pushes the Original Main Event to 

October 26 in San Juan

PLANT CITY, Florida (August 30, 2022):  Undefeated Brandon “Bulletproof” Glanton will battle Mario “El Ruso” Aguilar in the ProBox TV main event on Friday, September 9, for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Global Cruiserweight Title..  The two heavy-handed bangers will fight in a schedule ten-round bout at the ProBox Events Center in Plant City, Florida and the card will be streamed live worldwide at PROBOXTV.comand the ProBox TV app.

Due to Juan Huertas illness, his WBO Latino lightweight title fight against Miguel Madueno – the original September 9 main event – has moved to October 26 in San Juan to be a ProBox TV featured event at the WBO Convention.

Brandon “Bulletproof” Glanton (16-0, 13 KOs) from Riverside, California via Atlanta, GA is ranked No. 15 by the World Boxing Organization. The thirty-year-old Glanton is coming off a fifth-round TKO win on July 9, a fight that can be seen on-demand at ProBox TV.  Glanton made his professional debut on May 6, 2017, at heavyweight and won by first-round stoppage. After hovering right at 200-pounds or above for his first six fights, “Bulletproof” dropped below that threshold to fight at cruiserweight and found much success.

Mario “El Ruso” Aguilar (22-7, 18 KOs) from San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, México, is coming off a two-fight win streak, by a third-round TKO and a sixth-round DQ. The 31-year-old Aguilar made his pro debut in 2014 and his fights have ranged from the light heavyweight division to the heavyweight division and weights as low as 159 lbs. to as high as 233 lbs. – with successes at all levels.
