Kyiv (March 28th, 2022)– In a statement on Telegram, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko declared Kyiv schools will reopen on Monday, March 28, 2022, in an online format. According to Mayor Klitschko, the educational process will resume (online) in the capital, and will be more adapted to current conditions, using different educational platforms for students. An important task today is for the city to live and work, even under such strict martial law (conditions). They [the Russians] are trying to intimidate us. That will not work! We will not give up!”

In addition, Mayor Vitali Klitschko, in a new interview on Sunday, March 27, 2022, detailed the latest ground situation in capital Kyiv in the capital during an exclusive interview on “Sunday Morning Future”, telling Maria Bartiromo soldiers in the country are showing a big will to win.  Vitali, a former heavyweight boxing champion, repeated his call on the Western power to bring more support to help Ukraine. Vitali also said experts told him that the war could last for months. “Nobody knows, and that’s why we have to be prepared for any scenario (on our ongoing battle fronts).”

Russian Special Military Operation forces have apparently shifted their focus from a ground offensive surrounding Kyiv, to assume a defensive posture on the Kyiv outskirts, while now instead prioritizing on the liberation of the contested Donbas region (in official statements) in the country’s industrial east region.
