Crazy Celebrity Boxing: Malignaggi Decisions Corey B, Odom Decisions Noa

By Robert Brizel, Head Real Combat Media Boxing Correspondent

Miami, FL (October 3rd, 2021)– In a new tale of exhibitions on a card originally supposed to feature former World Heavyweight champion Riddick Bowe. Former two-time World champion Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi won a three-round exhibition over TikToker social media star Corey B (following over seven million), and former NBA basketball star Lamar Odom won a three-round decision over Ojani Noa, former husband of actress Jennifer “J-Lo” Lopez (1997-1998), at the James L. Knight Center, Miami, Florida, on Saturday night, October 2, 2021.

Odom, age 41, had a nine-inch height advantage at 6″10″ to Noa’s 6’1″, and used considerable height, weight, reach, and size advantage to easily outpoint Noa behind the left jab. Noa was married to actress Jennifer Lopez from 1997 to 1998.

Malignaggi, 36-8 with seven knockouts, Brooklyn, New York, age 40, simply used his considerable boxing jab skills and experienced defense to outpoint Corey B and practically never got hit, in his first ring appearance since March 2017 when he was knocked out by Sam Eggington in the eighth round at 02 Arena in Greenwich, United Kingdom. Eggington is still active professionally, having retained the WBC Silver Middleweight title by 12 round split decision over Bilel Kjitou at Skydome, Coventry, U.K., on September 10, 2021.
