Williams, 18-5-2 with six knockouts, age 34, New Haven, Connecticut, won the vacant Universal Boxing Organization International Super Welterweight title, and the vacant American Boxing Federation USA Super Welterweight title with the win. Foreman, 35-4 with ten knockouts, age 40, Brooklyn, New York, a former World Boxing Association World Super Welterweight champion, has probably reached the end of the road with this loss to a fighter who was unable to win any of his five bouts in 2019 and 2020 (0-4-1).

Rosado, 26-13-1 with 15 knockouts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose record is deceiving owing to top flight opposition, was down in the first round for an apparent count of nine. An overhand right to the jaw by Rosado knocked out Melikuziev face first, in a manner similar to The fourth round knockout of Manny Pacquiao by Juan Manuel Marquez in their fourth battle at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on December 8, 2012, often billed as the “Fight of the Decade”.

At Emperors Palace, Kempton Park, Gauteng, South Africa, on Saturday, June 19, 2021, 18-1 Thulani Mbenge of Eastern Cape, South Africa, scored a third round upset stoppage of 11-0 Jabulani Makhense of Pretoria, South Africa, to win the World Boxing Association Pan African Welterweight title.
