FLOYD MAYWEATHER SAYS HIS PRICE FOR KHABIB BOXING MATCH OR A CONOR MCGREGOR REMATCH
Las Vegas, NV (September 30th, 2020)– Floyd Mayweather says he is willing to do a rematch with Conor McGregor or fight Khabib Nurmagomedov.
He told Shannon Sharpe on his podcast he would only do these fights unless he is paid $300 million dollars for each fight.
Mayweather spelled it out on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, where he explained why his longterm mental health is more important than a paycheck. Mayweather feels fighting McGregor in a rematch is not much of a risk.
Conor McGregor can’t punch,” Mayweather said … “He can’t punch.”
Floyd Mayweather defeated Conor McGregor in August of 2017 by a 10th round TKO which was his last professional bout and he retired 50-0. Conor did better than expected and won at least 4 rounds against boxing’s biggest star at that time while landing over 1oo punches. Conor McGregor is currently in talks to box Manny Pacquiao in early 2021.
Floyd says he remembers taking a shot from Conor during their 2017 fight and thinking to himself, “Man, this dude punch so soft. It’s cool.”
