Egos in Isolation! Bud Crawford and Iron Man Charlo in Nasty Social Media Trash Talk

Houston, Texas (April 16th, 2020)– Social isolation may be extended during the Coronavirus Pandemic. However, physical isolation has not stopped the ongoing nasty social media trash talk between Top Rank’s Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford and Jermell ‘Iron Man’ Charlo. World Boxing Council World Super Welterweight champion Charlo, 33-1 with 17 knockouts, Houston, Texas, and southpaw World Boxing Organization World Welterweight champion Crawford, 36-0 with 27 knockouts, Omaha, Nebraska, have spent more time lately going verbally head to head in what may emerge as boxing biggest bout in the weights in 2020 or 2021, next to Tyson Fury versus Deontay Wilder III. The epic confrontation has static electricity attached to it, and with neither champion willing to shut up, as in the song ‘Thriller’, the midnight hour is sure at hand. This trash talk dialogue could lead to a great WBC world title matchup.
Crawford: “Twinee Charlo….keep my name out of your mouth. You too shall see me. DON’T MAKE ME SHOW YOU WHO THE REAL KING OF THE JUNGLE (is). It isn’t a lion (it’s me). Like I said, keep my name out of your mouth, because when you see me, it’s what’s up this and what’s up that. Stop faking (a fight with me) for attention!” Crawford also told Chris Mannix on DAZN Boxing he would f#*k up Errol Spence if they fought.
Jermell Charlo, in reply, clearly disagrees. “You know what it is? I think you a cool fighter, but don’t bite off more than you can chew. LIONS ONLY. DIFFERENTLY & HONESTLY. I PERSONALLY BELIEVE YOU CANNOT F#*K WITH E.J. (Errol Spence).”
Jermell Charlo responded: “I was never made for the lip wrestle (trash talking). I’m about that action. I’m always on call.”
Bud Crawford closed with: “(I) Pray for those who play with me. Good night!!!”
Jermell Charlo got in the last word, stating “Brother, stop telling me to keep your name out (of) my mouth. There’s only one way to do that. Like I said, you (are) a cool boxer. I’m going to pretend you didn’t mention me. But hey man, say man, I got time, but believe me, when them LIONS (are) at your neck, please don’t retreat.”
