Oh No Not Again! Adrien Broner Arrested For Drunk Driving in Miami Beach Florida

Miami Beach, FL (March 14th, 2020)– Bad Boys, Bad Boys, Whatcha Gonna Do? The song has caught up with former World Welterweight champion Adrien ‘The Problem’ Broner again.  According to TMZ, Broner, age 30, was pulled over by police in Miami Beach at 8: 45 P.M. on Friday evening, March 13, 2020, while driving under the influence, and was arrested.  Broner posted a 1000 dollars bond on an eight-hour hold, which means he could not be released from custody until 4 P.M. Saturday, March 14, 2020. Broner, 33-4-1 with 24 knockouts, Cincinnati, Ohio, had last pro bout was in January 2019, when he lost a 12 rounds decision to Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas, Nevada, for Pacquiao’s World Boxing Association World Welterweight title.



 

Last month, Broner was arrested in Las Vegas and reportedly charged with misdemeanor trespassing for trying to attend the Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury rematch. A year ago, Broner made a homophobic rant in which he said he would shoot gay people. In April 2019, Broner was found guilty of assault and unlawful restraint after forcibly kissing a woman, and was forced to pay her 830 thousand dollars in damages. In January 2016, a man accused Broner of beating him and robbing him of $14,000 during a gambling dispute outside a Madisonville bowling alley. That case was dropped and settled out of court. In April 2017, Kentucky police said Broner crossed into Kentucky in a bullet-riddled Chevrolet Suburban. Broner told the police someone shot at his vehicle after following him from a bar. He was not injured.
