Carlos Llinas Presents February 8 Night of Knockouts XV Live at Motor City Casino Detroit

Detroit, Michigan (February 2, 2019)–Carlos Ilinas Productions, matchmaker Aaron Rodriguez and Sound Board at Motor City Casino in Detroit, Michigan, will host an explosive evening of exciting boxing entitled ‘February 8 Night of Knockouts XV’ on Friday evening, February 8, 2019.
Nine bouts are featured on the card, culminating in an eight round super welterweight main event between Lanardo Tyner and Isiah Jones. Tyner, 35-13-2 with 22 knockouts, Detroit, Michigan, an old school veteran, coming off a third round knockout of undefeated Cortez Chambliss last October, will face 7-0 David McWater Detroit prospect Isiah Jones, the 2016 Detroit and National Golden Gloves amateur champion at 165 pounds. Tyner has experience, but at age 43, he must face a 24-year-old power middleweight. The bout, whichever way it ends, is destined to be explosive.
In the preliminary bout to the main event, 10-0-1 Detroit Dmitriy Salita bantamweight prospect Jarico O’Quinn will face 18-1 Alex Rangel of Cuidad Obregon, Mexico in an eight rounder. Former Michigan super middleweight and light heavyweight champion Daryl Cunningham of Detroit will face 9-1 Rafael Garcia of Tucson, Arizona in an eight rounder.
In six rounders, 6-0 Indiana lightweight prospect Frank Martin faces 4-5-1 Efrain Cruz of Brooklyn, New York by way of Vieques, Puerto Rico. 8-0-1 Detroit light heavyweight prospect Taylor Duerr faces 5-10 Connecticut journeyman Nicholas Lavin.
In four rounders, 1-0 welterweight prospect James Gray of Fowlerville, Michigan, faces 1-2 Jermon Houck of Saginaw, Michigan. Unknown heavyweight Matthew Price will open the card and make his professional debut against 0-3 Detroit heavyweight Henry Wright. Junior middleweight Garrett Ross debuts against debuting MMA fighter Cody Baker of Battle Creek, Michigan. Detroit junior welterweight Joel Berman faces Iraqi Munib Al-Salmani of Dearborn, Michigan.
