Titan Fighting Championship (Titan FC) Has A Partnership with the UFC

Las Vegas, NV (November 10th, 2018)– Titan Fighting Championship (Titan FC) officials have reached a new multi-year agreement with the UFC which will extend broadcast rights for all of the Florida-based mixed martial arts promotion’s live events.

“Five years ago when I acquired Titan FC, it was my vision that Titan would be a major global brand in MMA and one of the premiere leagues in the world. Renewing our media rights deal with UFC Fight Pass is another step to making the vision of Titan FC being a global brand a reality,” said Titan FC CEO Jeff Aronson.

Titan and the UFC will continue to work collaboratively on athlete development and mobility between Titan and UFC, including continued use of “UFC Out-Clause” in Titan FC promotional agreements.

“We are excited to announce a new multi-year deal that renews our longstanding relationship with the UFC to showcase our live events on the Fight Pass digital distribution platform for the world to see. If you are going to be in the MMA business there is no better partner to have than Dana White and the UFC, the 800-pound gorilla and global leaders in MMA talent development and event promotion, said Titan FC COO Lex McMahon.

Not only has the MMA promotion renewed the partnership they first created with Titan FC 34 back in June 2015, but the Titan organization will expand its current combat sports offering in 2019 to include combat jiu-jitsu.

“Titan FC is continuing to grow and expand our business, as we looked at the current combat sports landscape, it became evident that there is tremendous energy and fan support for both combat jiu-jitsu, so it only makes sense that Titan expand our expertise in combat sports and event production and promotion to include this robust and rapidly growing aspect of combat sports to our product offering,” McMahon said.

According to Aronson and McMahon, MMA will remain the core product offering of Titan FC, but combat jiu jitsu will be an important product offering for the growth of Titan FC. Titan FC Combat Jiu Jitsu will also be broadcast exclusively through UFC Fight Pass.

“As a long time Jiu Jitsu practitioner and avid fan of all combat sports. I’ve been particularly intrigued with the growth of combat jiu jitsu so it’s both an exciting and logical brand extension for Titan FC,” Aronson said.

Titan FC Combat Jiu Jitsu will be submission only with the ruleset being developed in conjunction with the athletes to provide the fans with fast paced action focused on exciting finishes. Titan FC Combat Jiu Jitsu will launch in Q1 2019.

Titan FC 51 will be the first MMA show under the new UFC Fight Pass deal. On Wednesday, Titan FC officials announced the card will be held December 21 at the Almaty Arena in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It will be the promotion’s first show out of country in the history of the organization’s 50 previous events.

Titan Fighting Championship has partnered with Kazakhstan based Alem Fighters to exclusively promote live events in Kazakhstan.

The first event will be Titan FC 51 and will be held December 21 at the Almaty Arena in Almaty and will be the promotion’s first show out of country in the history of the organization’s 50 previous events.

“The growth of Titan FC is truly exciting and will continue into an exclusive partnership with Alem Fighters to develop talent and promote live events in Kazakhstan. I recently spent time in Kazakhstan and was truly impressed by the warrior culture and national passion for combat sports. I’m excited to showcase Kazakhstan’s rising MMA stars to the world,” said Titan FC COO Lex McMahon.

Titan FC 51 will feature fighters from the United States, Brazil, Cuba, Venezuela, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, The Netherlands, and Russia and the fight card will feature two title bouts.

“The partnership with Titan FC will help us to show the world the amazing MMA talent we have here in Kazakhstan as well as highlighting the Kazakh culture, two things I am very proud of. I’m excited for Titan FC to bring world class MMA to Kazakhstan and for the role Alem Fighters will play in working with Titan FC,” said Alem Fighters Director Ardak Nazarov.
