

CONOR MCGREGOR’S UPDATED ARREST DETAILS
Brooklyn, NY (April 6th, 2018)– Mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor turned himself into police Thursday and was arrested and charged with three counts of assaultĀ and one count of criminal mischief after his role in a fracas that left UFC fighter Michael Chiesa in the hospital with a facial laceration. The incident took place after a media event ahead of Saturdayās UFC 223 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
According to the Independent, McGregor was held overnight and remained in police custody early Friday morning as he awaited a court appearance in Brooklyn. MMA FightingĀ reportedĀ that Cian Cowley, McGregorās SBG teammate, also was charged with one count of assault and one count of criminal mischief over the incident.
Michael ChiesaĀ has filed a police report againstĀ Conor McGregorĀ after he was injured during the Irishmanās alleged attack on a charter bus on Thursday in Brooklyn, New York, according to TMZ.
McGregor turned himself in at the New York City Police Department after a video of the incident surfaced. The video appears to show the him hurling objects into the bus and shattering a window. As a result, multiple fighters were injured. Chiesa sustained facial lacerations that necessitated his withdrawal from a main card bout withĀ Anthony Pettis, andĀ Ray BorgĀ suffered a corneal abrasion that forced him to exit his scheduled clash withĀ Brandon Moreno. Meanwhile, McGregorāsĀ SBG IrelandĀ teammate,Ā Artem Lobov, was pulled from his booking oppositeĀ Alex CaceresĀ due to his alleged involvement in the incident.
McGregor was led out ofĀ the 78th Precinct in Brooklyn for a court appearance Friday morning, according to video posted by New YorkāsĀ WNBC. Check out the videos below.
