Jaafar Promotions Hosts 13 Bout Card at Dearborn Community Performing Arts Center By Robert Brizel, Head Real Combat Media Boxing Correspondent
Dearborn, Michigan (October 24th, 2016)– Promoter Eddie Jaafar and Jaafar Promotions will host an exciting 13 bout card of boxing on Sunday, October 30, 2016, at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, Michigan, featuring undefeated British Yemeni southpaw featherweight prospect Muheeb Fazeldin versus Michael Andrew Gaxiola in the six round main event.
Fazeldin, 8-0-1 with three knockouts, Sheffield, United Kingdom, is favored to win by eight round unanimous decision over Gaxiola, 4-9, Modesto, California, who has gone the distance in all 13 of his professional bouts. Gaxiola, a trial horse, went eight rounds with Marcos Forestal last August, and figures to test Fazeldin to the limit to see what he’s got.
Three more six rounders are scheduled on the card. 7-0 Ohio super middleweight DeAndre Ware is favored to win by six round decision over 3-6-1 Troy Artis of Bronx, New York, who has gone the eight round distance with Marcus Williams and will be a good test. 7-0 Detroit light heavyweight James Ballard, a 2008 Golden Gloves champion, is favored to win by fourth round stoppage over 2-5 Hakeem Atkinson of Georgia. 7-1 Michigan featherweight southpaw Ernesto Garza will appear in a six rounder and is favored to win.
Nine bouts of four rounds duration are scheduled. 4-0 Ohio middleweight Roy Barringer is favored to win by four round decision. 2-0 Detroit middleweight Antonio Wade is favored to win by second round stoppage over 2-4 Hosea Smith Jr. of Wisconsin. 2-0 Flint middleweight Ardreal Holmes is favored to win by four round decision. 1-0 Chicago Yemeni lightweight Yousif Saleh is favored to win by four round decision over debuting Amir Muhammad. 2-0 Ohio heavyweight Cassius Anderson and 0-1 Michigan heavyweight Anthony Coleman Jr. will slug it out in a scheduled four rounder which will not go the distance,, and someone will get knocked out, but no call as to which one of them it will be.
Debuting Dearborn super middleweight Sinan Fradi is favored to win by second round knockout over 0-4 Brian Jackson of Port Huron, Michigan. 1-0 welterweight Waseem El Sinawi of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, is favored by four round decision over debuting Garland McGhee. Debuting Detroit bantamweight Angel ‘Pimpy’ Villegas is favored to win by fourth round stoppage over 0-1 JuJuan Gills of Indiana. Debuting National Golden Gloves heavyweight champion Marcus Carter is predicted to win by second round knockout over Delvin Henderson in a four rounder.
