
DOMINICK CRUZ VS. CODY GALBRANDT IS OFFICIAL FOR UFC 207
Las Vegas, NV (October 24th, 2016)–UFC officials today confirmed with ESPN that Dominick Cruz (22-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) will put hit championship on the line against Cody Garbrandt (10-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) in the co-feature of UFC 207, which takes place Dec. 30 at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
The main card of UFC 207 will feature Ronda Rousey vs. Amanda Nunes.
Garbrandt earned his title shot when he knocked out Thomas Almeida in the first round of the UFC Fight Night 88 main event in May. Cody also defeated former WEC bantamweight title challenger Takeya Mizugaki in just 48 seconds with a big TKO. Galbrandt is considered by many the hardest punching fighter in the 135lb. division.
Cruz has been undefeated since 2007 winning 13 straight since then.
Since an injury lay off from multiple knee surgeries in 2012 to late 2014, Cruz has defeated Urijah Faber, TJ Dillashaw and Takeya Mizugaki.
