Valdez and Rocha Set to Headline
The American Muay Thai League event

WASHINGTON, D.C., U.S.A.- In what is sure to be a thrilling Muay Thai match-up, Rolando Valdez (Bethesda, MD) will take on former United States Muay Thai Association North American champion, Eric Rocha (Toronto, Canada) in the Main event of The American Muay Thai League (AMTL) on September 17, 2016, in Washington, D.C.
The stacked Muay Thai card will be the first at the FBR (Friedman, Billings, Ramsey) Branch of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington Gymnasium located inside THEARC (Town Hall Education Arts Recreational Campus) in Washington, D.C.’s Ward 8.
In the co-main event, former WKA North American Kickboxing Champion and Unified World Silver Medalist, Jared Tipton (Bowie, MD) will clash with Jonathan George (Lorton, VA).
In separate undercard bouts, Scott Noble (Baltimore, MD), known for having one of the fastest knockouts on record of three seconds will test his talents vs Samullah Amady (Lorton, VA) and AMTL veteran, Jovan Davis (Arlington, VA) is scheduled to go toe-to-toe with Shogun Fights veteran, Alvin Mercer (Fairfax, VA). Additionally, there will be 12 amateur Muay Thai bouts scheduled prior to these contests.

Doors at the FBR Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington Gymnasium will open at 3pm EST for the AMTL event with the first bout starting at 4pm EST.
