Atlantic City, NJ (July 21st, 2016)– Rising Promotions will present an exciting nine bout card of boxing in the third floor Celebrity Theater at Claridge Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Friday evening, July 22, 2016, featuring local hero Thomas ‘Cornflake’ LaManna in a welterweight bout, as well as several Chinese boxing superstars.

Chinese light heavyweight southpaw Fanlong ‘Cold Blood’ Meng of Chifeng, China, 7-0 with five knockouts, is favored to win by fourth or fifth round stoppage over faded Daniel Judah, age 38, 24-10-3 with 11 knockouts, Brooklyn, New York. Judah won his first bout in seven and a half years this past February, a first round stoppage of 0-9 Jose Brewer in Dodge City, Kansas. The win technically qualifies Judah for a better fight. That’s about it.

2008 Beijing Olympic Games Super Heavyweight Bronze medalist Zhilei Zhang, age 33, 10-0 with seven knockouts, Zhoukou, China, now fighting out of Las Vegas, Nevada, is favored to win by eight round decision over 10-4-1 Rodney Hernandez of Modesto, California.

12-2 Atlantic City super welterweight Anthony ‘Juice’ Young is favored to win by six round decision over 23-21-3 Eduardo Flores of Quito, Ecuador. Flores, who went the distance with former world champion Kermit Cintron in Philadelphia this past May, has gone the distance over 40 times in his career, has a solid chin, and could wage a wild war with Young. A fighter known for various fouls, Flores will test Young to the limit.

20-1 super welterweight Thomas LaManna of Millville, New Jersey, is favored by six round decision over 10-7 Engelberto Valenzuela of Agua Prieta, Mexico.

In four rounders: 0-1 lightweight Marvin Johnson of Bridgewater, New Jersey, is favored to record his first career pro win by four round decision over 0-1 Lamont White of Washington, D.C.; 1-0 bantamweight Christian Carto faces debuting Christopher Nelson; bantamweights Kevin Asmat and Dallas Holden both debut in a four rounder.

Heavyweight southpaw Dan Pasciolla of Brick, New Jersey, 7-1-1, is favored to win by second round knockout over Philadelphia southpaw Dante Selby, 2-1-1.
