CONOR MCGREGOR AND FLOYD MAYWEATHER ARE BOTH CLAIMING THEY ARE IN TALKS

Las Vegas, NV (May 8th, 2016)– The past two days Real Combat Media has received strange reports of a possible Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather boxing fight according to the original report made by THE SUN .
Later on that day, Dana White denied the rumor in an interview with Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports and said it was not true.
Then Friday Night, Floyd Mayweather Sr. had these comments below when he spoke with the media .
“He had told me the other day that he’s going to take another fight,” Mayweather Sr. said about his son. “He told me it’s (against) some kind of MMA fighter.”
When asked about McGregor specifically, Floyd Sr. didn’t hold back, and even said the bout could happen soon.
“We’d beat the hell out of that man,” he said about [McGregor]. “My son can whoop him. He’s dead.”
“Yeah, that’s what I thought they would do,” Mayweather Sr. said, confirming that if it happens, it would be under boxing rules. “That’s what everyone has been saying. I really don’t know exactly when, but I’m pretty sure it’s going to come around pretty soon. Won’t be that long.
Then Floyd Mayweather answered the questions for the media below and indeed confirmed that there is talks going on.
“It’s possible…it was a name that was shot at me…the rumors that y’all been hearing is the rumors that I started…it may not be a rumor…keep y’all fingers crossed…it may be a boxer versus an MMA fighter,” stated Floyd Mayweather, who confirmed that a showdown with UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor is possible. Would the UFC let this fight happen since he is still under contract? Is Conor playing a leverage game with the UFC, after he was pulled from UFC 200 in late April for not wanting to do his required media obligations?
