MIKEY GARCIA FINALLY RELEASED BY TOP RANK
Las Vegas, NV (April 7th, 2016)– For close to 2 years and a half, one of the best pound for pound boxers, Mikey Garcia (34-0, 28 Kos) has been out of the ring due to litigation with his promoter Bob Arum. Today he was finally released by Top Rank. He has been in litigation with Top Rank since 2014 for not getting the fights that he wanted and for contractual reasons. Michelle Rosado of Ragingbabe.com broke the news in Las Vegas today during a conversation she had with Top Rank CEO, Bob Arum in the Elle Seckbach video below.
Mikey Garcia who last fought in January of 2014, when he won a unanimous decision over Juan Carlos Burgos at Super Featherweight. Garcia now has plans to enter the 140lb division and may sign with Al Haymon and PBC. We will finally get to see one of the best boxers in our sport compete against the very best.
