United Fight Alliance Presents AFC 25: Quinones vs. Quarantillo – an Explosive Night of Fights
Ft. Lauderdale, FL (March 30, 2016) – United Fight Alliance is excited to bring you AFC 25: Quinones vs. Quarantillo on Friday April 1st at 7pm at the Broward College Omni Auditorium in Coconut Creek, Florida. Absolute Fighting Championship’s (AFC) Main Event features two hot prospects, Billy Quarantillo from season 22 of TUF versus local favorite Michel Quinones.
Emmy Award winning Jordan Jay Adams of United Fight Alliance will be commentating the event alongside Rizin Fighting Federation Heavyweight Champion and Bellator star Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal.
“AFC never fails to thrill its audiences” said Adams. “They have such a large and diverse fighter pool to select from in southern Florida and the rest of the state – they always have impressive cards. The Main Event has a lot of heat: 6-1 Michael “El Capo” Quinones faces 7-1 William Quarantillo. Quarantillo is ranked the #1 lightweight in Virginia and #4 in Florida and Quinones has knocked out his last two opponents in under a minute each in round one.”
Adams continued, “The Co-Main Event will be exciting too with UFC and TUF Veteran Steve “The Creepy Weasel” Montgomery looking to get back on track and show why the UFC gave him the nod. He faces a very dangerous Bellator veteran Avery “The Irish Hurricane” McPhatter. The Hurricane has been tearing things down lately, winning his last six fights in a row with plenty of KO’s. Montgomery knows McPhatter is looking to get recognized and make a name for himself by knocking off an ATT UFC Vet. The Creepy Weasel has other plans and is looking to put end to the storm in convincing fashion.”
