Conor-McGregor-vs-Nate-Diaz

Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz 2 Is Official

Las Vegas, NV (March 30th, 2016)– The anticipated rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz is set to headline UFC 200.

The fight, which was first reported by MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani on March 18, was made official during a UFC Tonight broadcast on Wednesday night. It will be contested at 170 pounds at the new T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Earlier in March at UFC 196, Diaz submitted McGregor  via a second-round rear-naked choke. McGregor was originally scheduled to face Rafael dos Anjos for the lightweight title, but dos Anjos was forced to withdraw 11 days earlier from the card with a broken foot.

UFC 196 reportedly did 1.5 million PPV buys which was the second highest total in their history.

For the featherweight champion McGregor, it was his first loss in the UFC. He had previously gone 7-0, with all of his fights taking place at 145 pounds.

The 30-year old Diaz, who had been competing as a lightweight before UFC 196, is riding currently two-fight win streak. Before the first fight with McGregor, he defeated Michael Johnson at UFC on FOX 17 in December via unanimous decision.

Who do you think will win the rematch?
