Hollywood Florida Gym Scuffle ! Klitschko Tells Briggs He Might Be Next after Tyson Fury

Hollywood, Fl (September 4th, 2015)– According to World Heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, “Win your fight with Mike Marrone and then we’ll talk!” “Tyson no fury! It’s the champ with the fake champ!” counter Briggs. “Let’s behave!” said Wladimir. “You see it face to face. This is (I am) the real champ!” said Briggs. At this point, touching between Briggs and Klitschko triggered a near riot in Wladimir Klitschko’s Hollywood Florida gym training camp. Former world champion Evander Holyfield, on the scene, was present to separate the two from turning the frenzied scene into madness.
“I’m the party crasher. After you fight Fury, will you fight me?” taunted Briggs.
Shannon ‘The Cannon’ Briggs will square off against Mike Marrone at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida, Friday night. Coincidentally yesterday, Briggs showed up uninvited (as he did before with Wladimir and his girlfriend) and issued a nonstop tiradeof taunting words for a shot at the champion. Briggs, 43, 58-6-1 with 51 knockouts, Brooklyn, New York, will record his eighth consecutive win over undistinguished opposition if he beats Marrone. Briggs last lost to Vitali Klitschko in at O2 Arena in Hamburg, Germany, by 12 round decision in December 2010.
Neither Vitali nor Wladimir, the Klitschko brothers, have ever been accused of ducking anybody during their co-stints as world heavyweight champion. IF Briggs, a king of first round knockouts, wants Wladimit so bad, Wladimir he probably will get now. Briggs should stop Marrone within six rounds. Since Deontay Wilder, the ‘other’ paper champion has no immediate interest in Wladimir Klitschko, Briggs should get his wish and rightly so. It should be noted that the array of bums fought by Briggs included one decent fighter, Raphael Zumbrano Love on Brazil, who took Briggs the full 12 rounds in a vacant WBA-NABA title bout in Oklahoma in June 2014 with proficiency and Briggs could do nothing with him.
The nine heavyweight bout extravaganza tonight at the Hard Rock will include heavyweights Maurice Harris, Grover Young, Roberto Alonzo, Jamal Woods, Erik Leander, Antonio Robertson, Edwin Alvarez, Raymundo Lopez, Quadtrine Hill, Quincey Palmer, Brandon Spenser, Dieuly Aristilde, Joseph White, Hector Hodge, Ernest Mazyck and Terrance Marbra. The 6-0 Robert Alfonzo, a Cuban defector, lost in the first round of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. One time contender Harris, age 39, 26-9-2 with 11 knockouts, East Orange, New Jersey, a loser of four of his last five, could be getting primed for Briggs next with a tune up win, if Wladimir Klitschko, who fights Tyson Fury on December 24, 2015, at Espirit arena in Dusseldorf, Germany, does not want to fight Briggs just yet.
Pinklon Thomas, Chris Byrd, Michael Moorer, John Ruiz, Lennox Lewis, Terrible Tim Witherspoon, Larry Holmes, Mike Weaver, Iron Mike Tyson, Bruce Seldon, Oliver McCall, Tony Tubbs, Riddick Bowe, Tony Tucker, Hasim Rahman, Evander Holyfield, James ‘Bonecrusher’ Smith, Roy Jones Jr. and Michael Bentt are among 26 former heavyweight and other champions scheduled to attend the nine bout Hard Rock card at ringside tonight. Fight fans should bring their cameras for once in a lifetime photos.
Briggs aside, the aging bunch of over the hill ex-heavyweight champions could probably beat the rest of the heavyweight fighters on this card, and you know what? Heavyweights do sell tickets, so this particular card gets to the point. Wladimir Klitschko will also be at ringside waiting for Briggs to win, and start another silly riot. If it happens, it’ll be every heavy weight champion for himself. Kris Lawrence, promoter, and the heavyweight factory are promoted this evening’s heavyweight extravaganza. Briggs, who once held a piece of the title himself, is the ultimate catalyst to start a ruckus, and as fight fans know, publicity stunts sell tickets. Once the bell rings, talk is cheap, folks.
