There are four preliminary bouts to open the card of four rounds duration each. Welterweight Evincii Dixon of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, 4-5-1 with two knockouts, is predicted to win over Jair Ramos, 3-1-1 with two knockouts, Waterbury, Connecticut.
Dixon lost a split decision in six rounds to a 7-0 prospect this past February, with two of the cards 56-58 so the bout was close. Ramos lost to 6-0 Gabriel Duluc in Providence in November 2012 without winning a round, and has been inactive since November 2012. Before that Ramos drew with an 0-7 fighter. Owing to his more recent activity, Dixon has the slight edge.
