Manny Pacquiao gets fresh in first sparring session

Millersville PA (March 19th, 2015)– WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao enjoyed his first sparring session in the monumental build up to his historic Mega-Fight clash with WBC welterweight and super welterweight Champion Floyd Mayweather, on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

“ After 13 days of strength and conditioning exercises at the Wild Card Gym , plus some training weeks in the Philippines, I finally had boxing practice, ” said Manny… adding: “ My sparring partners are helping me a lot. They are perfect to prove the strategy Freddie and I have developed in order to defeat Floyd. I was really happy today with my speed and stamina. ”

Pacquiao and Mayweather will finally happen on May 2nd . It’s a bout all that the World’s waited years to see. There’s a “Modest” shared purse of 300 million dollars, a historic sum and the certain prospect that PPV records are going to be vanquished.

Trainer, Freddie Roach, added: “Many looked really fresh today. I’m really pleased with what he did. You can’t tell he’s been out of the ring since November. Manny is really motivated at the gym and that’s a good sign leading to triumph!”
