Strike Off FC debuts om GFL.TV on February 28 from NOVA College in Annandale, Virginia. with “Strike Off 4.” The action packed card promises to raise the bar on the regional MMA and has several title bouts that anchor a mega card featuring tons of fighters from the Mid-Atlantic area as Strike Off FC presents another top tier, world class card.

In the main event, Billy Quarantillo (5-1) battles Khama Worthy (7-2) for the Featherweight Championship. Quarantillo is a grappling specialist earning 4 wins via tapout. Quarantillo is an aggressive fighter who likes to push the pace and go for the finish early and often. Don’t be surprised if he goes for a takedown in the opening minute and tries to work his submission game on the ground. Quarantillo values submission over position and has a very active top game as well as guard and is just as dangerous off of his back as he is when he is working from side control or has the mount. Worthy is riding a 6-fight winning streak and has racked up 5 wins via TKO. Worthy brings KO power into the cage with both hands and can end a fight with a single punch. Look for Worthy to try and keep this fight standing as he can do substantially more damage in the striking aspect of MMA. This will be a contrast of styles and the winner will be able to impose his will on where he wants the fight to go.

In the co-main event, Elder Ramos (8-6) fights Bellator vet Derrick Kennington (7-6) for the Welterweight Title. Ramos looks to add another title to his collection and has won 3 out of his last 4, to go along with 4 first round KOs on his record. He is the very definition of a quick starter. Look for Ramos to push the pace and immediately close the distance in the cage with his strikes. If the fight goes to the mat, expect Ramos to be active looking to scramble and improve his position whenever he can as he is also devastating on the ground. Kennington is a well-rounded fighter and his standup, particularly his Muay Thai, is punishing to his opponents. Kennington mixes up knees, kicks and punches very well to keep his opponent off balance. But it is his grappling that is most dangerous as he has scored submission victories in 5 of his wins.

The promotion’s third inaugural belt will be at the Flyweight division, in which the #1 ranked Flyweight, Samir Farid, will be facing North Carolina’s Varon Webb. Still undefeated in his young career, Farid, 4-0, is coming off a spectacular come-from-behind win over Dennis Brown at Strike Off 2. Webb, 5-2, has fought in two previous title fights with NFC in Georgia, but just as Farid, has never made it into the championship rounds.

In other action, Brett Glass (4-3) takes on Nick Blesser (3-15) in a battle of grizzled veterans. Glass is an aggressive fighter who uses strong wrestling and takedowns to stymie his opponents’ offense. Glass is strong in top control and can end fights with his elbows and punches from that position. Blesser fights with a high risk-high reward style and his fights are usually fight of the night. Blesser has never turned down a fight and never will as he brings it each and every time he enters the cage. Blesser is a heavy handed puncher and will throw combos from all sorts of angles.

Tune in February 28 as “Strike Off 4” comes to GFL.TV live and direct. Watch the top regional organization in the Mid Atlantic as they continue to showcase the best fighters in the region. Order now.

Atlantic City, NJ – On Saturday February 28, 2015, Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) returns to the great state of Pennsylvania when Timmy “the South Jersey Strangler” Williams (10-1) defends his middleweight title against veteran Anthony “Lionheart” Smith (20-10) from the Harrah’s Casino in Chester.

In his last bout, the Millville native punctuated his early career by winning the CFFC middleweight title against Ronald Stallings, who was recently added to the UFC roster, with a unanimous decision victory in November 2014. A decision is something new for Williams as nine out of his ten victories have come via stoppage. “Being the CFFC Champion is a great honor and holding that belt means something to me, my team and my fans,” stated Williams. “They say you are not a true champion until you defend the belt. I’m excited about the opportunity ahead and I am coming for a finish.”

“Timmy is one of, if not the toughest fighter in CFFC right now,” stated CFFC CEO Robert Haydak Jr. “He’s a guy that wants nothing but fights that will test him and make him better. I think this has fight of the year potential and I can’t want to see it unfold.”

In regard to his opponent, Williams is all business. “I am very excited to be able to have my first CFFC middleweight title defense against a solid opponent like Anthony Smith,” stated that champion. “Anthony has fought all over the country and has faced some top competition. This fight will be a great test and I look forward to putting on a great show.”

On the other side of the cage next Saturday will be 30 fight veteran, Anthony “Lionheart” Smith. Competing successfully in organizations like UFC, Strikeforce, and Bellator, Smith has grown confident of his skills and appears that he knows the platform CFFC can provide. “I’m real excited to have the chance to fight for CFFC,” said the challenger. “CFFC is such a quality organization with a reputation as a premier regional show with waves of talent going through it. Important eyes are watching this show and I’m excited to be able to perform for the fans. I’ve been to the east coast a few times and have enjoyed it each time. Good people and I really enjoy fighting on the road.”

When Smith was asked about his opponent, his answer was quite surprising. “I know absolutely nothing about my opponent,” continued Smith. “Don’t even know what he looks like. Name sounds somewhat familiar maybe, but it’s a pretty generic name. It’s a title fight. I’m sure he’s tough and will be prepared. I don’t research my opponent that is up to my coaches. It will be an honor to become the next CFFC Champion.”

“I think Anthony is will be Timmy’s toughest fight to date,” continued Haydak. “He’s very confident and has faced some of the toughest competition the sport has to offer. He’s been on our radar for a while and I’m glad to add him to the CFFC roster and give him a title fight right away.”

CFFC 46 will also feature an anticipated lightweight bout between two local powerhouses when Joe Lowry (1-0) makes his second CFFC appearance when he takes on the dangerous Allen Otto (1-1) who is coming off a knockout victory. Both men have found a home with CFFC and a victory here gets someone closer to title contention. This event will also mark the professional debut of Jon Forster, the return of Andrew Aguilar, and amateur bouts represented by the top schools in the area.

Next Level Fight Club 1: The Proving Ground
Sat Feb 28 7:00PM ET

Click here to watch this event on GoFightLive!

Next Level Fight Club debuts on GFL.tv on February 28 with “NLFC 1”. This event has a stacked lineup, featuring the rising stars of the South as the host site sits centrally located at the Greenville Convention Center in Greenville, North Carolina. NLFC has promised to showcase the sport’s top MMA athletes from the Southeast region and this inaugural show is sure to come out with a bang.

In the main event, for the NLFC Middleweight Title, Jamie Pickett (2-2) fights Carl Darbouze (2-2). Pickett is coming off a spectacular first round win which saw his opponent submit to strikes in 2:00 minutes. Pickett is a power puncher as his other victory came via TKO in the first round as well. Pickett not only brings heavy hands into the cage, but he is a very accurate striker and doesn’t waste a lot of energy as his punches and kicks are very technical which allows him to continue to throw combos right after one another. Look for Pickett to come out early, composed, and throwing haymakers. Darbouze is a veteran on the Florida MMA scene and has wins over some notable fighters from the area including a one-punch KO in the first round of his first fight. Darbouze is also a solid wrestler and can take the fight to the ground if need be. If Darbouze doesn’t like what’s happening in the striking department, look for him to shoot for a takedown on Pickett and get the fight to the mat, where Darbouze can work his top and side control and utilize his compact ground and pound.

In the co-main event, William Baptiste (2-3) takes on Allen Crowder (4-0) in a heavyweight scrap. Baptiste has only been to 1 decision in his career and fights with a high risk-high reward style that always has him in the running for Fight of the Night. Baptiste loves to throw leather and has terrific cardio, especially for a heavyweight. Baptiste has worked tirelessly in the gym to add the grappling aspect to his striking game and vows to show Crowder his all-around MMA skills. Crowder comes into the fight, having never tasted defeated nor been severely tested. Crowder has 3 wins via submission and will look to take the fight to the mat and keep it away from the punching power of Baptiste. If Baptiste can keep the takedowns to a minimum, he will have a chance to end the fight with his striking. If Crowder can work his wrestling game and get the fight to the canvas, it will be an uphill battle for Baptiste.

You won’t find a more thrilling card then this one. Be sure to catch all of the action LIVE on February 28 as Next Level Fight Club presents “NLFC 1” exclusively on pay-per-view at GFL.tv.For full fight card and more details about this event, visit gfl.tv or click here

PA Cage Fight, one of the top MMA organization in Pennsylvania and the surrounding region, presents another night of exciting fights with “PA Cage Fight 20” on February 28, exclusively on GFL.tv. The premier event is highlighted by multiple title shots featuring the top prospects and fighters from the Northeast.

In the main event, Jim Jordan (3-0) battles Shelby Graham (5-9) for the PA Cage Fight Lightweight Title. The undefeated Jordan is well rounded in both standup and grappling and has shown an ability to dominate his opponent wherever the fight goes. Jordan has fought nothing but A-list fighters from the region and this will be his fist time to claim gold. Graham is a grizzled veteran who has never had a boring fight in his career. Graham is known for his aggressive fighting style and has notched several wins against some of the top lightweights across the regional circuit. Look for Graham to meet Jordan in the center of the cage and throw punches in bunches until somebody falls down. Both men also have very underrated grappling and could end the fight in the blink of an eye with a submission. For the winner, they will receive their spoils in the form of a gold belt, something every fighter works for and one of these fighters will walk out of the cage with.

In other title action, for the PA Cage Fight Featherweight Strap, Sean Santella (13-4-1) battles Jimmy Grant (5-3). Santella is a strong wrestler with solid submissions, who is a former CFFC champion, having defended that title on multiple occasions. Santella is most effective when he is pushing the pace and grinding down his opponents over the entirety of a fight. Grant is no stranger to championship gold as he is a former Ring of Combat champion in his own right. Grant is one of the most highly touted featherweights on the East Coast, along with Santella, and the winner of this fight could very well punch their ticket to the UFC with an impressive win.

In the amateur ranks, a Heavyweight champion will be crowded when Chuck Kowalchick takes on Ed Abrasley. Both fighters pack dynamite in their hands and this could be a quick fight. Don’t blink.

Sam Strausser takes on Damien Melendez for the vacant PA Cage Fight bantamweight title in another amateur bout. Both fighters are on the rise and the winner will set himself up nicely to make the transition to fighting as a pro. But before that happens, these two will step in the cage to determine a champion.

Egbert has only been beaten via decision in a close fight that many observers thought he won. Egbert has KO power in both hands and lets them fly early and often. Egbert is also a durable wrestler with strong takedowns and top control. Romero is a grappling specialist and at heavyweight, is one of the most promising grapplers in the division. Romero is very fluid on the mat and can flow from one submission to another as his transitions are flawless. Romero is dangerous from the guard, side control and top control and doesn’t mind giving up position to go for a submission. If Romero can get the fight to the mat he will be in his element. Look for these two brahma bulls to lock up early and try to impose their will on one another.
