Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Calls Out GGG
Las Vegas, NV (February 14, 2015)– Former WBC middlweight Champion, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr says that if Gennady “GGG” Golovkin defeats England’s Martin Murray, and he himself beats Poland’s , Andrzej Fonfara, he wants a meeting with Golovkin´s promoter,Tom Loeffler from K2 promotions, to organize a WAR!
“It’s not for me- he declared-, but for all the fans! Neither Golovkin nor Bernard Hopkins are better opponents than Carl Froch.” Froch suffered an injury and wasnt able to face Chavez this April.
Julio Jr. also challenged former champion, Bernard Hopkins, after he complained about Carl Froch ducking him.
On his social network Bernard Hopkins said:
“ is a liar. Is he not confident of fighting me? Chavez was an easy option.”
Chavez Jr retorted: “ I respect Hopkins for his achievements. I’d like to make a proposal to him, maybe during my bout against Froch in the summer. We could organize a tournament in the 168 lb division.”
