CHRIS WEIDMAN IS OUT OF UFC 184
Los Angeles, CA (January 31st, 2015)– Chris Weidman is out of UFC 184 due to a undisclosed injury according to several sources. No time table has been set on his return.
The official announcement from the organization is expected shortly.
The co main event will now be the main event between undefeated Cat Zingano vs. the 135lb. champ, Ronda Rousey.
UFC 184 takes place Feb. 28 at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. The evening’s main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims that air on FOX Sports 1 and stream on UFC Fight Pass.
The UFC 184 lineup currently includes:
- Champ Ronda Rousey vs. Cat Zingano – for women’s bantamweight title
- Jake Ellenberger vs. Josh Koscheck
- Holly Holm vs. Raquel Pennington
- Tony Ferguson vs. Yancy Medeiros
- Roan Carneiro vs. Mark Munoz
- Alan Jouban vs. Richard Walsh
- Roman Salazar vs. Norifumi Yamamoto
- Derrick Lewis vs. Ruan Potts
- James Krause vs. Valmir Lazaro
- Dhiego Lima vs. Tim Means
- Masio Fullen vs. Alexander Torres
